Hey there, folks! It’s been quite a morning here in Ghorpade Peth as a major fire broke out at Joshi Wada in the wee hours of Thursday. Can you imagine waking up to the sound of fire engines rushing to the scene at 3:47 am? Talk about a rude awakening!

The Fire Brigade wasted no time in responding to the emergency, dispatching a total of five fire engines and two water tankers to tackle the blaze. With reinforcements coming from headquarters, Kasba, Erandwane, and Gangadham fire stations, they were able to contain the fire before it spread even further.

Unfortunately, the fire did manage to engulf five houses and a small shop in Joshi Wada, causing significant damage. The upper floor of the house where the fire originated stored a large quantity of clothing, all of which was lost in the inferno. It’s heartbreaking to see so many belongings go up in smoke like that.

Thankfully, no casualties or injuries were reported during the incident. The fire brigade personnel worked tirelessly to extinguish the flames, making sure everyone in the vicinity was safe. As a precautionary measure, two gas cylinders were safely removed from the affected house to prevent any further danger.

As for the cause of the fire, authorities are still investigating to determine exactly what sparked the blaze. It’s a reminder for all of us to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions to prevent such disasters from happening in the future.

Stay safe out there, Ghorpade Peth. And let’s keep our fingers crossed for a swift recovery for those affected by this unfortunate incident.
