Hey there, folks! It seems like the residents of Dhayari in Pune are fed up with the delayed DP roads and are not afraid to speak out about it. In a recent meeting, hundreds of frustrated residents gathered to protest and raise awareness about the issue.
Social leader Dhananjay Benkar didn’t hold back, mentioning how crores of rupees have been spent on DP roads that only exist on paper. The traffic congestion on Sinhagad Road and in Dhayari village is causing daily headaches for residents.
Youth leader Sunny Gajanan Raikar chimed in, pointing out that despite the money spent, not even 400 meters of road has been constructed. And Nilesh Ramesh Damishte emphasized the lack of action taken by authorities over the past 28 years to address the traffic congestion issue.
Women’s Self Help Group President Bhagyashree Vikas Kamthe highlighted the safety concerns caused by the increasing population and number of vehicles in the area. The lack of proper roads and traffic management is putting students, patients, and workers at risk.
To make matters worse, it seems like corruption is also plaguing the police and municipal machinery. With not enough personnel to control traffic and malfunctioning signals, the situation is only getting worse. Encroachments are adding to the chaos, and residents are feeling let down by the lack of action from authorities.
It’s clear that the DP road issue in Dhayari is a hot topic among residents, and they’re demanding answers from the municipal administration and state government. Let’s hope that these voices are heard, and action is taken to address the longstanding issue of traffic congestion in the area. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story!
