Hey there, folks in Kalyani Nagar! It looks like things got a little heated (literally) in your neighborhood recently. On 5th June, a fire near Bishop’s School in Ramwadi caused a power disruption around 11 am. Around 3500 customers were left in the dark for about 45 minutes, all thanks to a high-pressure feeder pillar maintained by MSEDCL going up in flames.

But here’s where things get interesting – MSEDCL is pointing fingers at MNGL, claiming that the fire was sparked by a gas leak from an MNGL pipeline. On the other hand, MNGL is firing back, saying that MSEDCL’s feeder pillar was already on fire before their pipeline got damaged. Talk about a he-said-she-said situation!

In response to the chaos, MSEDCL sprang into action, sending out their engineers and staff to fix the issue and get the power back on. They even filed a complaint with the police station to ensure that the incident is properly investigated and addressed.

Meanwhile, MNGL is standing their ground, insisting that they had nothing to do with the fire. They explained that their pipeline was damaged by a third party working on a water line, and that the fire at MSEDCL’s feeder pillar was completely unrelated.

As you can imagine, the residents in the area are not too happy about the power outage, especially in the sweltering summer heat. The back-and-forth between MSEDCL and MNGL isn’t helping matters either. Let’s hope that a thorough investigation can clear up this mess and prevent any such incidents in the future. Stay tuned for more updates on this electrifying saga!
