Hey there, music lovers! If you were at the Alan Walker concert in Kharadi on October 18, you might want to double-check your pockets for your phone. A gang of thieves managed to swipe a whopping 36 mobile phones from the crowd during the event.
But fear not, the Pune police swooped in and managed to nab four suspects in connection with the thefts. These individuals, all hailing from Mumbai and Hyderabad, have been identified as Syed Mohammad Idris Shaikh, Akhil Venkataramana Godavari, Lokesh Hanumant Pujari, and Pappu Bhagirathi Vaishya.
The concert, held at a school ground in Kharadi, attracted a large crowd of music enthusiasts. Despite the extra security measures in place, the thieves still managed to make off with the phones. Thankfully, the police were quick to respond to the complaints and were able to recover 14 of the stolen devices after interrogating the suspects.
While these four have been apprehended, the search is still on for their accomplices who are believed to be involved in the theft. So, if you were at the concert and noticed your phone missing, don’t lose hope just yet – the police are on the case!
