Well, folks, you won’t believe what went down in Harihareshwar, Raigad District recently. A group of tourists from Pune got into a heated argument over lodging rates with a hotel businessman, and things took a violent turn when they decided to assault him. But that’s not the worst part – they actually ran over the hotel businessman’s sister with their car while making their escape in the middle of the night. Talk about a horrifying situation!
Thankfully, the Shrivardhan Police Station acted swiftly and managed to nab three of the culprits involved in this shocking incident. The victim has been identified as Abhi Dhamnaskar, while his sister Jyoti Dhamnaskar is currently fighting for her life. The authorities are still on the hunt for the remaining suspects, and a case of culpable homicide has been registered against them.
The absconding accused include a long list of names – Akash Upatkar, Neeraj Upatkar, Akash Gawade, Ashish Sonawane, Anil Maaj, Vicky Singh, Sachin Jamadar, Aadil Shaikh, Irappa Dhotare, and Sachin Tillu. Let’s hope they are brought to justice soon.
Harihareshwar, known as South Kashi, is a renowned pilgrimage site in Raigad District, but this incident has definitely tarnished its peaceful reputation. With its picturesque surroundings and spiritual significance, it’s heartbreaking to see such violence unfold in this sacred place.
