The Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections are just around the corner, and preparations are in full swing in Pune. The Border Security Force (BSF) has been called in to assist with maintaining law and order during the elections. BSF personnel have arrived in the city and are currently staying at the new hostel of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.

A coordination meeting was held today to ensure smooth operations during the elections. The meeting was attended by top officials including Pune City Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Pune District Collector Dr. Suhas Diwase, BSF Commandant Rajesh Kumar, and Deputy Commandant Manoj Kumar.

During the meeting, Pune CP Amitesh Kumar discussed the police administration’s preparations for the elections, while Collector Dr. Diwase provided information about voting centers and booths across the city. The BSF Commandant emphasized the importance of maintaining a secure environment for the election process.

Several other officials from Pune Municipal Corporation and the police department were also present at the meeting to ensure coordinated efforts for a successful election. The collaboration between all stakeholders is crucial to ensuring a smooth and secure electoral process in Pune.
