India is making waves in the infrastructure sector, with significant progress seen in metro systems, railways, industry, education, and health. The central government’s goals and policies have played a crucial role in this development, earning praise from developed nations. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stressed the importance of political stability in leveraging these emerging opportunities during a lecture organized by the Yashasvi Group.

The event was attended by Union Minister of State for Aviation Murlidhar Mohol, Yashasvi Group Chairman Vishwesh Kulkarni, NSS Planning Committee Advisor Rajesh Pande, and businessman Vishal Chordia. Jaishankar highlighted the impressive pace of development in India, with 12 to 14 kilometers of railway tracks and 28 kilometers of roads being constructed daily. The country is also witnessing the establishment of two new colleges daily and the emergence of new industries, attracting investment opportunities from developed nations.

Jaishankar emphasized that while some countries are facing conflicts, these situations also present employment and business prospects. He emphasized the importance of a skilled workforce and proper training for the youth to capitalize on global opportunities. The visit of a German delegation, which included vice-chancellors, industrialists, and ministers, resulted in commitments to collaborate in various sectors and provide job visas for Indian youth.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been meeting with numerous heads of state and delegations since the start of his third term, showcasing India’s growing global importance. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Savitribai Phule Pune University Senate Member Prasenjeet Fadnavis.
