In response to these reports, Pune’s Regional Transport Office (RTO) has decided to crack down on these unscrupulous operators. The RTO has issued a stern warning to tourist bus companies and has launched special squads to monitor their operations more closely.
According to RTO officials, their investigations have revealed widespread violations of regulations by these bus operators. From overcharging passengers to exceeding capacity limits, these companies have been found to be cutting corners at the expense of their customers.
