Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) is making moves to go global by setting up new sub-centers in Georgia, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and Kazakhstan. This comes after the success of their sub-center in Qatar. The university’s Management Council gave the green light to this plan on Saturday, paving the way for international expansion.

The governments and academic authorities of the aforementioned countries have shown interest in hosting SPPU sub-centers, prompting the university to move forward with the process. Dr. Vijay Khare, Director of the International Centre at SPPU, mentioned that Vice-Chancellors and representatives from the four countries visited Pune University a few months ago to discuss the establishment of these sub-centers.

With the official approval from the Management Council, SPPU is ready to take the next steps in their global expansion strategy. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development!
