A grand procession took place in Pune to mark the installation of the idol in Thailand, with key members of the trust and prominent figures from both countries in attendance.
Entrepreneur Papa Son Mipa, who funded the construction of the temple in Phuket, expressed his happiness and honor at being part of such a significant project. The new temple, named Lord Shrimant Ganapati Bappa Devalaya, stands tall at 50 feet and will serve as a spiritual hub for devotees in Thailand and neighboring regions.
The main idol of Dagdusheth Ganpati, crafted in Pune, is an exact replica of the original idol and took over a year to complete. The total cost of building the temple in Phuket has reached Rs 9 crore, according to Trust President Sunil Rasane. The temple construction was completed in record time, with a sacred Ganesh Yantra installed in the idol following proper rituals.
The temple is set to open to the public soon, providing a new spiritual destination for devotees of Dagdusheth Ganpati around the world. The significance of this new temple is highlighted by the inspection conducted by the Prime Minister of Thailand, showcasing the global appeal of this revered deity.
