Pune, 31st October 2024: Balasaheb Ambedkar, the president of Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi (VBA), was rushed to a hospital in Pune early this morning after experiencing chest pain. It was later revealed that he had a blood clot in his heart and is currently receiving treatment in the ICU. Despite the seriousness of his condition, doctors have stated that he is stable and will undergo angiography in the near future.
The Ambedkar family has asked for privacy during this difficult time and will not be fielding any questions from the media. In the meantime, VBA State President Rekha Tai Thakur will be taking charge of the party’s campaign activities with the support of various committees within the party.
As Balasaheb continues to be monitored for the next few days, the VBA is focusing on ensuring a smooth transition in leadership and maintaining momentum in their political activities.
