The engineer, hailing from Tathawade, tried to school the minibus driver on driving etiquette, but things took a turn for the worse. The driver started hurling verbal abuse, leading to a physical showdown. The engineer got slapped, pushed to the ground, and had his head banged on the road – talk about rough!
Thankfully, the engineer’s quick-thinking wife called the cops while bystanders held the suspect down. The injured engineer was rushed to the hospital for treatment and later filed a formal complaint at the police station.
Now, the minibus driver is facing some serious charges under the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicle Act. The police have asked him to join the investigation, as the offenses are bailable – meaning he could be looking at less than three years behind bars.
