The Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati in Pune, known as India’s first public Ganesh Mandal, recently celebrated Tripurari Purnima in a grand and devotional manner. The festivities included a Deepotsav, Tulsi Vivah, and an offering of 56 bhogs to Lord Ganesh. The altar in front of Bappa was adorned with decorative panch pakwans and fresh fruits as part of the tradition.

In keeping with their legacy of social consciousness, the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Trust has decided to donate all the sweets, snacks, and fruits offered to Lord Ganesh to various social welfare organizations. This year, the offerings will go to Devtaru Ashram in Dattawadi, the ‘Donate Aid’ organization in Paud, and the Balagram Centre in Bhaje, which supports the education of 300 students and provides daily meals to 90 children.

On Tripurari Purnima, the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Temple was a sight to behold, with intricate flower arrangements and glass lamps illuminating the temple. Thousands of devotees visited the temple to seek blessings from Bappa and witness the stunning decorations. All the trust’s office bearers were present at the event, showcasing their dedication to the celebrations.
