Hey there, folks! Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar recently took the stage in Chandannagar to rally support for Mahayuti candidate Sunil Tingre in the Vadgaonsheri constituency. He didn’t hold back in addressing the long-standing water issues plaguing the area, calling out the alleged tanker mafia for profiting at the expense of residents.

Pawar didn’t mince words, vowing not to seek votes in the area until these mafia groups are eradicated. At the rally, he was joined by former MLA Jagdish Mulik and other key members of the Mahayuti alliance. Pawar praised Tingre’s track record, highlighting major development projects totaling a whopping ₹1,500 crore.

Taking a swipe at Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) candidate Bapu Pathare, Pawar criticized Pathare’s 30-year tenure for failing to address the water issues and questioned his loyalty. He also brought up Pathare’s alleged shortcomings in ensuring women’s safety, claiming that those who can’t protect their own families can’t be trusted to look out for the women in the constituency.

Pawar didn’t shy away from addressing the mudslinging tactics either, accusing Pathare of trying to smear Tingre over an incident that Tingre had no part in. He urged voters to support Tingre for the continuation of welfare schemes and dismissed claims of constitutional changes as mere propaganda.

In his closing remarks, Pawar urged voters to press the button for the “clock” symbol, promising justice for all groups, including minorities. So, folks in Chandannagar, it looks like the political heat is on, and it’s up to you to make an informed decision come election day.
