Hey there, folks! Let’s talk about the latest green initiative making waves in Kondhwa. In a bid to make our planet a little greener, the Art of Living and Nandanvan Volunteers group joined forces for a tree plantation drive as part of “Mission Green Earth.”

With the support of the Pune Municipal Corporation’s Tree Plantation Department, 50 saplings were provided for the event at Shivarkar Garden. And boy, did the volunteers show up in full force! Over 45 green warriors rolled up their sleeves to plant a total of 150 trees in just one day.

Led by retired irrigation department officer Suresh Paluskar, the event in Nandanvan, Wanowari, was a true display of community spirit and environmental commitment. The selected tree species, including Laxhmi Taru, Karanj, and Imli, were carefully chosen for their benefits to the local ecosystem.

But this wasn’t just a one-off event. The organizers have plans in place for the long-term maintenance of the planted trees, ensuring they have the best chance of thriving and making a difference. And with the rising temperatures and extreme weather events, this initiative couldn’t have come at a better time.

So, kudos to all the volunteers and organizers for taking a step towards a greener future. Let’s keep up the good work and continue to make a positive impact on our environment. Go green, Kondhwa! 馃尦馃實
