Hey Pune peeps, heads up! Traffic in the Swargate area is going to be a bit different on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Why, you ask? Well, it’s all to do with the Maharashtra Assembly Elections happening soon.

So, here’s the deal – on Tuesday (19th November) from 6 am to 1 pm, if you’re heading towards Sarasbagh from Swargate Keshavrao Jedhe Chowk, stick to the left lane. The right lane is reserved for PMPML buses carrying election stuff. And on Wednesday (20th November) from 6 pm to midnight, after you vote, traffic on Solapur Road towards Sarasbaug will be restricted. The “Great Separator” at Swargate will also be closed, so if you’re going to Sarasbaug, turn right from Laxminarayan Cinema Chowk and go via Mitramandal Chowk.

The main hub for collecting voting materials will be at Shree Ganesh Kala Krida Rangmanch on Wednesday evening. The Traffic Police are asking everyone to plan their routes ahead and be patient during these changes.

The goal is to make sure everything runs smoothly for the elections while keeping everyone safe and causing as little traffic hassle as possible. So, be prepared and drive safe, Pune!
