1. Campaign Ban Period: Public campaigning is a no-go from 6 PM on November 18 until the end of voting on November 20. That means no print, electronic, or social media campaigns, as well as no rallies or meetings.
2. Candidate Tents: Campaign tents are only allowed at designated spots 200 meters outside polling stations. No flags, placards, or anything that could influence voters are allowed in this zone.
3. Parking Arrangements: Extra parking areas have been set up for polling stations with over 10,000 voters in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad to make it easier for voters to access.
4. Electronic Device Ban: Keep those mobile phones, smartwatches, pen cameras, and weapons at home on November 20 and during vote counting on November 23. They’re not allowed within 100 meters of polling stations.
5. Action Against Violations: Anyone caught capturing or filming election proceedings, spreading rumors on WhatsApp or social media, or sharing misleading messages will face strict penalties, including legal action.
Dr. Diwase is calling on all eligible voters in the district to cast their votes on November 20. He’s urging everyone to not only vote themselves but also to encourage others in their communities to do the same. Let’s make this election a success together!
