Hey Pune! Heads up, if you were planning on getting any registration work done at the Sub-Registrar Offices in the city, you might want to hold off for a couple of days.
Why? Well, it’s all because of the ongoing Assembly Elections. The third and final training session for election staff is happening today, and they’ll be busy distributing election materials tomorrow. So, employees and officers from certain Sub-Registrar Offices under Haveli Sub-Registrar Class-II will be tied up with election duties on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
But don’t worry, if you need to get something registered urgently, you can still head to the Sub-Registrar Haveli No. 6 office as usual.
Oh, and here’s another heads up – Wednesday, 20th November, has been declared a public holiday for the general elections. So, don’t expect the Sub-Registrar Offices to be back to normal right away on Thursday. They might start operations a couple of hours later than usual due to post-election responsibilities.
So, if you were planning on dealing with any registration work this week, just be prepared for some delays. The Joint District Registrar Class-I and Collector of Stamps, Santosh Hingane, has asked for everyone’s cooperation and understanding during this time.
That’s the update for now, folks. Stay tuned for more election-related news in Pune!
