Diamond Parks, a leading entertainment destination in Pune, recently showed its support for the Primary School Maharashtra League, held at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Boys Military School & College in Phulgaon. The league, organized by the Primary Schools Indigenous Sports Association of Maharashtra in collaboration with Athletes in Action and supported by the Anjaneya Sathe Group, aimed to provide a competitive platform for young athletes from different regions of Maharashtra.

The league saw enthusiastic participation from teams across Maharashtra, with the Pune Gramin team clinching first place, followed by the Pune City team in second place, and the Nashik and Pimpri-Chinchwad teams jointly securing third place. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Arjun Indulkar, President of the Primary Schools Indigenous Sports Federation of India and Managing Director of Diamond Parks, who referred to the event as Children’s Special Week.

Prominent attendees at the event included Mr. Anjaneya Sathe, President of the Primary School Indigenous Sports Association of Maharashtra; Mr. Deepak Arde, Organizing Director of the Primary School Maharashtra League 2024; and Dr. Wilson Andrews, Secretary of the Primary Schools Indigenous Sports Federation of India. Nine teams from Nagpur, Parbhani, Buldhana, Jalgaon, Nashik, and Pune showcased their talent during the league.

During the closing ceremony, dignitaries praised the athletes for their commitment and performance and provided valuable guidance. Arjun Indulkar emphasized Diamond Parks’ dedication to nurturing local talent and the importance of sports in building character, leadership, and teamwork among youth. The event received widespread praise for its seamless execution and positive impact on young athletes, with Indulkar deeming it a resounding success.
