Hey there, folks! It’s been quite a morning over in Khopoli, Maharashtra. Fourteen people found themselves in a bit of a pickle after an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway earlier today.

So, here’s the scoop: a tempo and a private bus got into a bit of a tussle around 3 AM. The bus, with 11 passengers on board, was on its way from Sangola to Mumbai when the tempo, loaded with chickens, decided to crash the party. Literally.

Apparently, the tempo had some brake issues and ended up rear-ending the bus. The impact was so strong that the bus veered off the highway, flipped over, and landed in a ditch about 20 feet deep. Ouch.

Luckily, most of the injuries were minor, and the bus passengers were quickly whisked away to a nearby hospital in Khopoli for treatment. They were patched up and sent on their way in no time.

As for the three folks in the tempo, well, they weren’t so lucky. They sustained some pretty serious injuries and were rushed to Mahatma Gandhi Mission Hospital in Kalamboli for further care.

The Khopoli Police are on the case, trying to piece together what exactly went down. Stay tuned for more updates on this wild ride of an accident. Stay safe out there, folks!
