In a heart-wrenching incident, a young man lost his life in Pune’s Rajgad taluka due to delays in reaching the hospital. The family of the deceased, Sandesh Sambhaji Ingulkar, is devastated and is blaming the deplorable condition of the local roads for his untimely death.

Sandesh, who had moved to Pune from Velhe taluka with his family, was a hardworking individual with two sons. His younger son, Sandesh Ingulkar, had been living a healthy life after a surgery at the age of five for asthma problems. However, on November 10, while working in the fields, he suddenly faced severe breathing issues.

With no medical facilities nearby, Sandesh’s family decided to rush him to Nasrapur for treatment. However, their journey was marred by the terrible condition of the roads, particularly the route via Ambavane. A delay caused by a harvester getting stuck on a narrow bridge further worsened the situation, leading to a tragic outcome.

The family’s ordeal was exacerbated by heavy traffic between Baneshwar Phata and Nasrapur, turning what should have been a short journey into a prolonged nightmare. By the time they reached the hospital, it was too late, and Sandesh had already passed away.

Sambhaji Ingulkar, the grieving father, has expressed his anger towards the administration, holding them responsible for his son’s death. He is demanding immediate action to fix the roads to prevent such tragedies in the future. The loss of a young life has left the family shattered, highlighting the urgent need for better infrastructure and healthcare facilities in rural areas like Rajgad taluka.
