The award was presented at the 32nd CII Excellence Summit in Bengaluru on November 27, 2024. Chetna Dharmavat Dabi, Associate Manager at Venture Center, accepted the award from Dr. Jitendra Sharma, Managing Director and Founder CEO of Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ).
The CII-AMTZ MedTech Quality Champion Awards aim to promote excellence in the medtech industry and encourage organizations to strive for higher standards in quality and innovation. Venture Center’s exceptional services for medtech startups, including its ISO-certified MedTech Cleanroom, regulatory support for various markets, and personalized mentoring, played a significant role in securing this award.
The MedTech Cleanroom Facility at Venture Center, recently recertified for ISO 13485:2016, provides crucial support for bio-entrepreneurs and startups in the manufacturing and packaging of medical devices. The center’s Regulatory Information and Facilitation Center (RIFC) assists startups in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and offers services such as document preparation, audits, risk management, and clinical trial advice.
Dr. Premnath Venugopalan, Director of Venture Center, expressed his delight at receiving the Gold Award, stating that it recognizes the center’s efforts in promoting medtech quality and supporting startups to meet global standards. This achievement aligns with Venture Center’s mission to build world-class industries in India.
