Are you tired of getting stuck in traffic jams on your daily commute? Well, you’re not alone. Residents of Baner-Pashan Link Road and Abhimanshree Society Road were left frustrated as the police unexpectedly closed the road near Abil House, causing massive traffic chaos. It took some commuters like Savitri Sehgal and Navdeep Singh hours to reach their destinations, with the road narrowed due to ongoing Metro work.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Amol Zende explained that the road closures were part of trials for more Metro work along the route. Starting Friday, diversions will be put in place in front of the RBI office, and major traffic adjustments will be made from Vidyapeeth Chowk to Shivajinagar via Ganeshkhind Road.

To help ease the congestion, the traffic police have announced diversions and closures for ongoing Metro work in Shivajinagar. No-parking zones have also been enforced on key stretches like Range Hills Corner and Symphony Chowk. Commuters are advised to check traffic updates before heading out to avoid getting caught in the chaos. Stay informed and plan your journey accordingly to avoid unnecessary delays.
