Hey there, folks! We’ve got some breaking news coming out of Pune today. The Anti-Narcotics Squad 02 and Anti-Extortion Squad 2 of the Pune Crime Branch have just made a major bust. They seized a whopping ₹14.6 lakh worth of Mephedrone (MD) and even recovered a country-made pistol with live rounds from two suspects in the Faraskhana police station area.
Leading the operation were Police Inspectors Vijay Kumbhar and Sudarshan Gaikwad, along with the help of Assistant Police Inspector Nitin Kumar Naik and other officials. The two suspects, identified as Bobby Bhagwat Suravase and Tosim alias Laddu Rahim Khan, have been arrested and a case has been registered at the Faraskhana Police Station. Further investigation is currently underway by Assistant Police Inspector Nitin Kumar Naik.
The Pune City Police Commissionerate is cracking down on drug trafficking and illegal weapons, showing their dedication to keeping the public safe.
