The Pune Porsche Car Accident case took a new turn as the parents of the minor driver, Vishal and Shivani Agarwal, along with another accused Ashfaq Makandar, have been kept in police custody until 14th June. The police believe that extending their custody is vital to uncover the whereabouts of the accused son’s blood sample and to determine if there are other individuals involved in the case.
Makandar was reportedly arrested for allegedly bribing a peon at Sassoon Hospital with Rs 3 lakh. The police are now focusing on investigating the missing one lakh rupees from the payment made for tampering with blood samples and Makandar’s activities during the time he was on the run.
Furthermore, the police will look into whether the Agarwal couple provided any compensation to Makandar and who approached him for assistance. There are suspicions that Vishal and Shivani Agarwal may have played a role in destroying crucial evidence, specifically the blood sample.
