Hey folks, have you heard about the latest scandal involving two army officers in Yerwada? That’s right, a Lieutenant Colonel based in Odisha has filed a complaint against another officer, accusing him of cheating him out of a whopping ₹37 lakh.
The accused officer, Lieutenant Colonel D. S. Patil, allegedly promised to help the victim, who resides in Vadgaon Budruk, Sinhagad Road, purchase land in the Konkan region. The two officers had reportedly met during their time at Bombay Sappers in Khadki.
Despite transferring the money to Patil’s account, the victim claims that he never received the promised land or a refund. Feeling deceived, he decided to take legal action and filed a complaint with the Yerwada police station.
Now, Police Sub-Inspector Gauri Jhore is on the case, investigating the matter to get to the bottom of this alleged fraud. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
