Pune residents now have a new way to explore religious and tourist destinations with the launch of the Tourist Bus Service No. 2 by PMPML. The service, which was inaugurated at Swargate Bus Stand, aims to provide comfortable, convenient, and affordable journeys for passengers. With many people having weekly holidays on Saturdays and Sundays, this new service is expected to be a hit among those looking to plan trips on weekends.
The Tourist Bus Service No. 2 will take passengers on a route from Hadapsar to various destinations including Sant Sopankaka Temple in Saswad, Sangameshwar Temple, Narayanpur, Balaji Temple (Ketkawale), Baneshwar Temple, and Kondhanpur Temple before returning to Hadapsar. The ticket price for this service is set at Rs.500 per passenger.
Dr. Sanjay Kolte, Chairman and Managing Director of PMPML, highlighted the various tourist bus services that have been initiated by the organization. These services cover popular destinations such as Morgaon, Jejuri, Kharawade Mhasoba Devasthan, Temghar Dam, Khadakwasla Dam, Panshet Dam, Theur Ganapati, and more. The aim is to encourage devotees, pilgrims, and tourists to make use of the air-conditioned buses for a hassle-free travel experience.
