Alright folks, buckle up for a wild ride because a 19-year-old man in Baner, Hritik Bansode, found himself in hot water after a series of collisions involving his MG Gloster SUV. The chaos unfolded between Nanaware Chowk and Shivshakti Chowk on Sus Road in Pashan area, leaving five vehicles damaged and two individuals with minor injuries.

Senior Police Inspector Mahesh Bolkotgi spilled the tea by revealing that Bansode was charged with attempted culpable homicide and drunk driving, thanks to a medical report from Sassoon General Hospital that confirmed he was under the influence of alcohol. Talk about a bad decision.

During his appearance before Judicial Magistrate First Class Amol Shinde, Assistant Public Prosecutor Vishal Muralikar pushed for custodial interrogation to unravel the mystery behind the incident. The court granted Bansode’s wish and he’ll be cooling his heels in custody until December 7.

Turns out, the SUV in question belonged to a businessman who hired Bansode as a caregiver for his elderly father. But instead of running errands like a responsible employee, Bansode decided to go on a joyride after knocking back a few drinks at home. It all went downhill from there, starting with a collision with a school bus and ending with the SUV flipping over like a scene from a Hollywood action movie.

Pushkar Patil, a businessman, and his daughter were unfortunate enough to be caught in the crossfire, suffering minor injuries from the chaos. Patil couldn’t be reached for comment, probably still trying to process the whole ordeal.

As for Bansode, he’s sitting in a cell while the authorities inspect the wrecked vehicles. Let this be a cautionary tale, folks – don’t drink and drive, especially if you’re supposed to be taking care of someone’s elderly family member. Stay safe out there!
