The social workers have taken action by submitting a letter to Pune City Commissioner of Police, Amitesh Kumar, urging him to investigate this matter. They emphasize the lack of transparency in the Qurbani process, with people being misled about where their sacrifices are taking place. It seems that some individuals are being told that their Qurbani will happen in one state, while in reality, it is being conducted in another.
Mushtaq Ahmed Shaikh spoke to Punekar News about the issue, stating that such fraudulent practices go against the teachings of Islam. The group is calling for a thorough investigation and strict action against those responsible for deceiving members of the Muslim community.
