The crackdown on illegal businesses in Pune continues despite the strict orders from Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar. It seems that some police stations are still grappling with the issue, prompting the Crime Branch to step in with a special task force.
To tackle this problem head-on, thirteen teams have been put together, consisting of around 150 personnel. Their main goal? To root out and shut down any illegal enterprises operating within the city.
Early Tuesday morning, these teams swung into action, conducting surprise inspections in various areas under Zone 4. And it seems they hit the jackpot – seizing illegal stocks of cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, and tobacco products.
