In a shocking incident in Pune, a 12-year-old girl has found herself pregnant after allegedly being lured into a romantic relationship by a 17-year-old boy. The girl’s mother has filed a complaint under the POCSO Act against the boy at the Lonikand police station.
According to reports, the boy, over a period from August to October 2024, managed to persuade the girl into a relationship and engaged in physical intimacy with her. It was only when the girl discovered that she was four months pregnant that she confided in her mother about the situation.
The Lonikand police have taken swift action and initiated a case against the minor under the POCSO Act. Police Sub-Inspector Manoj Bagal is leading the investigations into this distressing case.
