Hey Pune peeps, did you hear about the unauthorised mall on Shirole Plot getting demolished? Yep, the Pune Municipal Corporation finally took down the two-storey structure that was causing traffic chaos on Fergusson College Road.

Apparently, the mall had been standing for eight years without proper permissions, and the PMC had issued a notice to its owner long ago. But thanks to a court stay, the demolition kept getting delayed. Until now, that is.

With 70 makeshift stalls inside, the mall was not only illegal but also a safety hazard. Imagine if there had been a fire or accident in that cramped space!

Kudos to the PMC Building Department for taking action and bringing down the remaining structure. It’s a relief to know that our city officials are looking out for our safety.

Let’s hope this serves as a lesson to others who try to bend the rules. And remember, always follow the law, folks!
