Chandrakant Patil Urges Pune Citizens to Stay Vigilant with Help of Police Assistance

The event saw the return of confiscated valuables worth ₹3.84 crore to 300 complainants in Pune. Senior police officials, including Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, were present to oversee the process.

Patil noted that Pune’s growing population and urban expansion have strained police resources. He assured that the government is working to address this, announcing the addition of 1,000 police personnel to the Pune force soon.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered strict action against Bangladeshi infiltrators in Mumbai and Pune. Efforts are underway to identify and deport unauthorized residents while tightening border security.
