After years of pleading with the bank, the Pawars decided to seek help from the Consumer Protection Foundation. And boy, did it pay off! The foundation stepped in, reminding the bank of its obligation to return the deposit with interest as per RBI rules.
With the threat of legal action looming, the bank finally caved and refunded the Pawar couple’s money. Talk about a happy ending!
