Hey there, Pune folks! Looks like the Pune Rural Police have been busy cracking down on crime once again. Three individuals were recently nabbed in connection with a knife-point robbery case, thanks to the quick work of the Local Crime Branch (LCB) and Shikrapur Police.

It all started on 2nd February when a 19-year-old woman reported being robbed while on her way to deliver her father’s tiffin in Ahilyanagar. The suspect, a 21-year-old man accompanied by two others of a similar age, allegedly snatched her phone and threatened her with a knife before making a run for it.

But fear not, justice was swift in this case. Thanks to some solid detective work and help from private sources, the LCB team managed to track down the accused. Ganesh Kailas Bhosale, 18, from Parner, Ajay Manik Ghegade from Shrigonda, and another suspect from the jurisdiction of Kharadi Police Station were all apprehended. The police also managed to recover the stolen Vivo smartphone worth ₹5,000 and the motorcycle used in the crime.

Big shoutout to the Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Pankaj Deshmukh and the senior police officials for their guidance in this operation. The LCB team, led by Police Inspector Avinash Shilimkar, and the Detection Branch under Police Inspector Deepratan Gaikwad from Shikrapur Police Station really knocked it out of the park in cracking this case.

So, there you have it, folks. Another day, another successful police operation in Pune. Stay safe out there!
