Hey there, wrestling fans! We’ve got some exciting news for you from the recent Hindu Garjana Chashak State-level Women’s and Men’s Wrestling Competitions. Kolhapur’s very own Shubham Shidnale, Haveli’s Suraj Chorghe, and Kolhapur’s Apeksha Patil emerged as the champions in their respective categories, and boy, did they put on a show!

In the open men’s category, Shubham Shidnale took on Maharashtra Kesari Sikandar Sheikh in a nail-biting semi-final match before facing off against Mulshi’s Tanaji Zunzurge in the final. After a grueling hour-long battle, Shidnale emerged victorious with a score of 10-01, claiming the silver mace and some hefty cash prizes.

In the junior category, Suraj Chorghe from Haveli showcased his skills and defeated his teammate Rohit Dighe with a score of 13-02. And in the open women’s category, Apeksha Patil from Kolhapur faced off against Pimpri-Chinchwad’s Pragati Gaikwad and came out on top with a score of 3-2.

The competitions were held at the SP College ground on Tilak Road, and the winners were showered with prizes by some big names like Minister of State for Urban Development Madhuri Satish Misal and Film Actor Ankush Choudhary.
