Shocking news out of Alandi today as a 12-year-old boy was reportedly sexually assaulted by a supervisor at a residential institution for orphans. The incident took place in the early hours of yesterday, and the accused employee, Venkatesh Kashinath Malnoor, has been arrested by the police.
The victim, who is also a 12-year-old orphan residing at the institution, bravely came forward and filed a complaint at the Alandi Police Station. According to authorities, the organization is responsible for providing accommodation to orphans in the area, and Venkatesh worked as a supervisor there.
The disturbing incident unfolded at 5 AM yesterday when the accused allegedly lured the victim to the TV room under the guise of showing him something on his mobile phone, only to then sexually assault the boy. Assistant Police Inspector Sali from the Alandi Police Station is now leading the investigation into this horrific case.
