President Droupadi Murmu’s upcoming visit to the Symbiosis Lavale Campus on July 29 has prompted the closure of 14 schools in the Lavale area until 1 pm. Pune district collector Suhas Diwase made the announcement in order to streamline traffic flow for the President’s convoy.

The affected schools include Periwinkle English Medium School, Dolphin English Medium School, Vidya Valley School, Srinivas Pre Primary School, Aditya Pre Primary School, Podar Jumbo Kids, Tree House Secondary School, Orchid International School, Zilla Parishad School, Sanskarodaya Primary School, Little Berries Pre Primary School, Kidzi Pre Primary School, Shree Vidya Pre Primary School, and Dhruva Global School.

The decision to close these schools aims to facilitate traffic coordination and ensure the President’s visit proceeds smoothly. With the narrow road leading to the Symbiosis International Campus, managing traffic while adhering to security protocols is expected to be challenging. As such, temporarily closing these schools is deemed necessary to guarantee safe and efficient transportation during the visit.
