Hey there adventure enthusiasts! Let’s talk about an epic summit attempt that took place recently. The team set out at midnight on August 12th and managed to reach the peak by 6:30 a.m. Talk about determination!

But here’s the kicker – despite being bundled up in 5 to 6 layers of clothing, the freezing conditions caused their camelback bladders to freeze. Yikes! This left them with limited water in their flasks, making the trek even more challenging.

The summit day was no joke, lasting a whopping 18 hours. During this time, they ascended a massive 1,200 meters and then descended 2,795 meters to reach Mweka Camp by 6 p.m. That’s some serious dedication right there!

On the fourth day of their journey, the team conquered the famous Barranco Wall. The members of the team were led by Captain Mustafa Battiwala and included a bunch of other brave souls like Talib Godhrawala, Huzefa Hakimi, and many more. These guys and gals truly deserve a round of applause for their incredible achievement.

So there you have it, folks – a thrilling adventure that will surely go down in the books. Until next time, stay safe and keep on exploring!
