Hey there, Pune! The city’s police have been busy cracking down on Ganesh Mandals this year, with a total of 31 cases registered against them. It seems like some mandals just couldn’t resist the temptation of blasting loud music and shining those flashy laser lights, despite clear instructions to keep it low-key.

Out of the 31 cases, a whopping 11 were for noise pollution alone. Come on, guys, we all love a good celebration, but let’s not forget about our neighbors who might not appreciate the constant thumping of bass in their ears.

But that’s not all – the police also had to deal with 19 other cases, ranging from minor disputes to more serious incidents like molestation. It’s a shame that what should be a joyous and peaceful occasion sometimes turns into chaos and trouble.

Pune Police is not taking these violations lightly and has assured the public that further action is being taken. Let’s hope that everyone can learn from these mistakes and make sure next year’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations are fun and safe for everyone involved. Until then, let’s all try to be good neighbors and respect each other’s peace and quiet.
