From garbage fires to tree fires, Pune experienced a series of fire incidents throughout the evening and into the early morning hours. The fires ranged from sugarcane fields to residential balconies, keeping the fire stations busy across the city.

The first incident occurred at 7:35 PM in Kalas, where garbage caught fire on the road, prompting a response from the Dhanori Fire Station. This was followed by a fire in a sugarcane field in Manjri at 7:36 PM, which required the assistance of the Hadapsar Fire Station and one water tanker.

Electrical wires caught fire in Balewadi Phata at 8:05 PM, in front of Kaka Halwai Sweets, leading to a response from the Pashan Fire Station. Meanwhile, a tree caught fire in Kothrud at 8:06 PM, with the Kothrud Fire Station quickly extinguishing the flames.

The incidents continued throughout the night, with fires breaking out in various locations such as Market Yard, Sahakarnagar, and Mangaladas Road. One notable incident was a tarp catching fire in Burud Ali in Ganesh Peth at 8:24 PM, attended to by the Central Fire Station.

Despite the numerous incidents, fire responders were able to prevent any casualties or injuries from occurring. The prompt response and efficient actions of the fire stations helped control the fires and ensure the safety of the residents in Pune.

The city can rest assured knowing that the dedicated firefighters are always ready to spring into action in times of emergency, no matter the time or location of the incident.
