The company’s owner, Jinendra Dilip Doshi, is not a happy camper after discovering the missing funds. Apparently, the accountant managed to weasel his way into the company’s finances, gaining full control over all transactions. Sneaky, sneaky.
The shady accountant reportedly cooked up some fake tax payment records to cover his tracks while funneling the money into personal and family bank accounts. Talk about a betrayal of trust!
Thankfully, the fraud was uncovered during a recent audit, and now Police Inspector Chetan More is on the case. Let’s hope justice is served and that this accountant gets what’s coming to him.
