Are you tired of having a boring old license plate number on your vehicle? Well, the Pune Regional Transport Office (RTO) has some exciting news for you! They are now accepting advance applications and conducting auctions for attractive and preferred registration numbers for two-wheelers and private four-wheelers in the upcoming series.
If you want to reserve a special number for your four-wheeler, make sure to submit your application on October 23 at the Private Vehicle Registration Section between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. And don’t forget to bring three times the regular fee with you! In case there are multiple applications for the same number, a list will be posted on the office notice board. The auction will take place on October 24 at 4 pm in the Co-operative Hall.
Two-wheeler owners, you’re not left out! You can apply for your preferred number on October 24 between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. Just like with the four-wheelers, if there are multiple applications for the same number, a list will be posted. The auction for two-wheelers will be held on October 25 at 4 pm in the Sahkar Hall.
And here’s a pro tip: if you don’t complete the vehicle registration process within six months of reserving your preferred number, it will expire. But don’t worry, expired numbers are now available on the NIC website and can be issued on a first-come, first-served basis to new applicants.
