The atmosphere at Anandvan 4 was buzzing with energy as over 300 volunteers came together to plant trees and show their commitment to protecting the environment. The event, organized by the Anandvan Foundation in partnership with the Forest Department of Pune, had a theme of “Ek Pedh Maa ke Naam,” which translates to “One Tree in the Name of Mother.”

The Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) N. R. Praveen and other officials from the Forest Department of Pune were present at the event, not only planting trees themselves but also encouraging volunteers to continue participating in environmental initiatives.

The day kicked off with a lively gathering where participants held up signs and banners to raise awareness about the importance of tree planting. This was followed by a special tree planting ceremony, where each volunteer dedicated a tree to their mother or a mother figure in their life.

One of the standout moments of the event was the display of drawings by more than 70 children. These artworks showcased the children’s love for nature and their dedication to protecting the environment, displaying their creativity and passion for the cause.
