Pune, 18th September 2024: Yesterday, Pune witnessed a vibrant celebration on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi, marking the end of Ganeshotsav. The city, known for its rich cultural heritage, has a long history of celebrating the festival of Shri Ganesha with great enthusiasm. Five renowned Manache Ganpatis and five other famous public Ganesh Mandals took part in the immersion processions.

The immersion processions of the five Manache Ganpatis started yesterday at different times and locations. From Manacha Pahila, Kasba Ganpati to Manacha Pachva, Kesari Wada Ganpati, the idols were immersed at various ghats following a route via Laxmi Road.

Similarly, the immersion processions of the five famous public Ganesh Mandals also took place yesterday and today. From Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati to Jilbya Maruti Ganpati, the idols were immersed at different ghats following the same route via Laxmi Road.

The celebrations were filled with joy, devotion, and a sense of community as people bid farewell to Lord Ganesha. The colorful processions and the enthusiasm of the devotees added to the festive spirit of Anant Chaturdashi in Pune.
