The incident, which took place on the day of Dhulivandan, involved an argument between Shibukumar Thakur and the accused, who were both laborers from other states. The accused allegedly tried to persuade Shibukumar to drink alcohol, but he refused due to his wife’s disapproval. When Shibukumar locked himself inside his house, the accused set his motorcycle on fire in a fit of rage, causing damage to other parked motorcycles as well. The accused fled the scene before the residents could intervene.
Following Shibukumar’s complaint, the police arrested two individuals, Kanhaiya Thakur and Hiralal Sharma, both carpenters, in connection with the crime. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
