Hey there, folks! Today in Camp, a shocking case of deception involving a youth and an army deserter has come to light. It seems that a guy named Lance Naik Shatrughan Tiwari thought it would be a great idea to scam people looking to join the army.

Apparently, Tiwari promised a recruitment position in the Indian Army to a young person in exchange for a hefty Rs 3 lakh bribe. The deal was that half the money would be paid upfront and the rest after training. Talk about a shady deal!

The victim, who was already past the age limit for army recruitment but still eager to serve, was approached by Tiwari with the same offer. Despite having suspicions about Tiwari, the victim continued to communicate with him out of desperation for a job.

Luckily, the victim eventually caught on to Tiwari’s scheme and reached out to the authorities. The Military Intelligence of the Army’s Southern Command, along with Pune Police, worked together to nab Tiwari in Kalyan, Thane.

It turns out that Tiwari had gone AWOL from his Army unit last year and had been using his Army identity card to deceive unsuspecting youths. The police found several documents on Tiwari’s phone, indicating that there may be more victims out there.

An FIR has been filed against Tiwari for cheating and attempting to commit offenses punishable by imprisonment. The investigation is still ongoing, so stay tuned for more updates on this bizarre case of military recruitment gone wrong. Stay safe and be wary of any shady deals, folks!
