Hey there, folks! Let’s talk about some juicy news coming out of Pune. Probationary IAS officer Dr Puja Khedkar has been causing quite a stir at the District Collectorate in Pune. District Collector Dr Suhas Diwase had to take action and recommend her transfer to Washim due to her conduct.

So, what did Puja do to get herself transferred? Well, she basically took over the antechamber of the Additional District Collector and even went as far as putting an amber lamp on her personal car with “Maharashtra Government” written on it. Talk about bold moves!

Despite senior officers trying to reason with her, Puja insisted on having her own separate seating arrangement, a car, a residence, and a peon. Not exactly the typical duties of a probationary IAS officer, right? They usually have to rough it out for a couple of years before getting all those fancy perks.

But Puja wasn’t having it. She even had the audacity to keep that amber lamp on during the daytime. And it seems like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree – her father, a former gazetted officer, also got in on the action by behaving improperly with senior officers. Yikes!

In the end, after a report was sent and some WhatsApp chats were attached as evidence, Puja Khedkar was finally transferred to Washim. Looks like this IAS officer’s stint in Pune didn’t quite go as planned.

And just to give you a bit of background on Puja – she’s from Pathardi in Ahmednagar district and comes from a family with a history of civil service. Her father was a Commissioner of the Pollution Department and her maternal grandfather was also an IAS officer. Looks like the civil service gene runs strong in this family!

So, what do you think of Puja’s antics? Let us know in the comments below!
