Hey there, folks! Here’s the latest scoop from Pune – Sanjay Deepak Rao, a 60-year-old resident of Thane, has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. This guy has been nabbed by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad for spreading Maoist ideology in urban areas across multiple states. Talk about living on the edge!

According to the Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwala Pawar, Rao has been using different aliases to push the Maoist agenda in Telangana, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. This dude was really going all out to promote his beliefs, huh?

Rao’s connection to the banned Communist Party of India (Maoist) was uncovered during an investigation into some other Maoist leaders back in 2015. It seems like Rao has been in deep with these guys for quite some time now.

After managing to dodge the authorities for a while, Rao was finally caught by the Telangana police last year. And get this – they even found a revolver in his possession! Yikes.

Now, the ATS is pushing for Rao’s DNA profiling, but his lawyers are putting up a fight. Looks like this case is far from over.

Stay tuned for more updates on this juicy story, folks. Until then, keep an eye out for any suspicious characters in your neighborhood!
