Hey there Pune folks! Have you been facing frequent power interruptions and fluctuations in the Baner-Balewadi area? Well, you’re not alone. The rising population and numerous housing projects have led to a significant increase in electricity demand, causing major inconveniences to residents.

But don’t worry, help is on the way! The Balewadi Welfare Federation has been actively working to address these issues. After discovering that a planned 220 KV power substation for Baner-Balewadi was delayed due to the lack of land, the Federation took matters into their own hands.

Thanks to their efforts and with the support of Kothrud MLA and Cabinet Minister Chandrakant Patil, the Federation successfully secured 0.65 hectares of land in Balewadi for the proposed substation. The Collector’s office has issued the official order for the land transfer, and residents can expect relief from the electricity problems soon.

Today, the Federation members met with Chandrakant Patil to thank him for his assistance. They are confident that once the substation becomes operational, the electricity problems in Baner-Balewadi will be resolved, providing much-needed stability to the area.

So, Baner-Balewadi residents, hang in there! Better days with a stable power supply are on the horizon. Let’s give a round of applause to the Balewadi Welfare Federation for their dedication to improving our community.
